Well, most of you know I've had ankle problems for a while. It looks like I have to get another surgery on it. (An ankle fusion) So I'm getting surgery on October 5th. Wish me luck :)

In other news, Devin is doing well. His back is letting him work again so that's good. Unfortunately he's been working in Price, so we've been missing him at home.

Bentley is doing well. Like always she so fun to be with. She's full of smiles, laughs, screams, and funny faces :)

We all went to the State fair on Saturday and that was really fun! Every year we say we should go and we never do. We just get distracted and busy, so it was nice to finally be able to go. I loved it. Oh they had these giant turkey legs! Look at these goofs! haha

:: Beautiful Bentley ::

Bentley is 5 Months old today! I can't believe it! Time flys by WAY too fast! Bentley is such a blessing in our life and couldn't have asked for more! She has the most beautiful smile that totally lights us up. I love her to pieces. Here are some pictures of her at 4 Months old! Absolutely Beautiful!

What we've been up to...

I have been so distracted I haven't blogged for a while. We did quite a bit in July. Bentley and my mom and I went to Saint George at the end of June into July for a few days and it was such a nice thing to get away and stay with Devin's parents for a little bit. Cody turned 19 and is getting his papers done for his mission. I think he'll be done with them this week! It's going to be awesome to see him out there and grow! We're so proud of him. We went boating a few times with the Brownings. It was such a blast!! They have an awesome tube for the boat. The kids loved it too. Bentley and I went down to Saint George again with Kristy and Suzi, It was so much fun with all the girls. We went shopping a lot, and got to see the Tarzan play at the Tuacahn which was SO awesome! It was very well done, and I loved it! I hope I can go there again. Aug 2nd was Devin and my anniversary. It's been 4 years now! Crazy stuff! Oh I got a part time job at Ogden clinic as a Unit Clerk. I love it, and it's going really well. It's a great clinic and there are awesome people I get to work with. When mom is doing well she gets to babysit while I'm at work so that's awesome for both of us! I know she really loves that time. When she's not doing good though I need a sitter for Bentley but I'm having a really hard time finding someone ... Hopefully mom will do well for a long time. It's hard when I'm trying to take care of her and Bentley and myself and the house. But anyway... Bentley is getting so big! Oh my word. People are not lying when they say kids grow like weeds! She is so beautiful and has such a cute personality! She loves putting things in her mouth right now. She tries to talk to us, and smiles a lot! We love it! :: Blessing ::

Bentley was blessed on Sunday by her dad. It was such a beautiful day! We could all feel the prescense of her grandpa Jones there, and it was so special. Thanks to all the family and friends who came. It was such a great day!

:: Graduation ::

Cody did it!!! He graduated from Northridge High School on Friday June 4, 2010! He worked really hard all through the last day of school to graduate. We are so proud of him for pushing through, and getting it done! Way to go Cody!!

:: Memorial Day ::

We had a great weekend. Sunday the family visited dad's grave and like we always do, released balloons. I'm glad the weather was decent this year. On Monday Me, Devin and our friend Ben went fishing at east canyon. Devin just bought a little aluminum fishing boat he's been dying to have so we got to test it out.. Turned out great! Surprisingly enough we didn't run out of gas, the motor never broke or died, and no one fell out of the boat! Some of you may know that when Devin and I go fishing, the fish like to bite and tease...our luck has changed! We weren't out there long and I got a fish!! I couldn't even believe it, what a good feeling. Long story short, I caught 3 fish, Devin and Ben caught one :) Today Bentley had a weight check at the doctor's. She is now 8 lbs 7 oz. She is getting blessed this sunday!

:: 2 Months ::

I can't believe Bentley is 2 months old already! Where does the time go? She is now 7 lbs 13 0z and 21 inches! She's growing so fast! Since we started her on the Nutramigen Formula the bloddy stools have stopped but she still has diarrhea. She's on antibiotics for a bacteria infection she has. Other than that she is doing pretty good. Still smiley at times which I love! Sunday we had to take Devin to the ER and found out he had Kidney Stones. It has been pretty crazy in our family the past week, but so far everyone is getting better.

: Oh the Stress :

The other night while changing Bentley, I saw blood in her stool. I took her to the doctor and he said it may be a yeast infection (since she has thrush) and gave me an rx for it. Well the next morning it was worse so I took her back. They said she needed to go to Primary Children's Hospital. So Dev and I took her down the the emergency there. They sent a culture of her stool which we're still waiting for the results on, and they took a couple x rays to check out her intestines. The x rays looked good, so that was a relief. They think that she may be allergic to the milk protiens so we are feeding her a special formula called Nutramigen which is really expensive, but if that's what she needs then so be it. I just can't wait to know what really is wrong. I want my poor baby all better! I hope everyone has had a wonderful mother's day. It was pretty much like any other stressful day for me, but devin worked all day on a great dinner. He gave me a necklace with Bentley's birthstone on it too. Thanks for everything babe!

:: Growing ::

Bentley is doing well. She is almost back to her birth weight. She's 6 lbs 9 oz now and 20 in. She is showing us her personality more and more. My favorite thing is when I get her to smile! It's the cutest thing in the world. Also when she chuckles :) She is such a blessing to have in our lives. I can't believe she's a month old already!
